Who Cares If Loading Dvd To Ipod Is Innovative? It's Cool!

by Roger Sarris

The last fifty years have witnessed an amazing array of technological innovations, such as space travel, robotics, and the computer. We've also seen the advent of many technological developments, that while certainly exciting, were not innovations. But somewhere along the line, people started confusing technological developments with technological innovations. And while new technology like loading DVD to iPod is exciting, it is not an innovation.

In order for something to be considered an innovation, it has to be something that is totally brand new and completely revolutionary. If it doesn't completely revolutionize the way we think about something or the way we do something, then it is not innovative. Loading DVD to iPod certainly has not revolutionized our lives, so it is not an innovation.

Regardless of its non-innovation status, loading DVD to iPod is a very cool technological development. It may not have revolutionized the world, but it certainly has made our commutes home from work and school much more pleasant!

It really is amazing when you stop to consider just how far our entertainment options have come in the last fifty years. The only options you had in the 1960's were to watch a television program as it aired on one of the four stations or go to a movie theater and watch whatever happened to be playing. It's pretty remarkable.

Of course it didn't take long before the excitement over the ability to convert DVD to iPod was overshadowed by an even more exciting development, the DVD to iPod converter. Converters were soon all the rage, and dozens of tech companies jumped on the bandwagon.

There was some pretty fierce competition as these companies battled each other for market share. As companies attempted to out do each other by increasing conversion speeds, storage capabilities and copy quality of their DVD to iPod converters, consumers were the ones that ultimately benefitted.

Most companies went after as wide a market as possible and designed universal converters that could be used by both PC and Apple users. Other companies created specialty converters that were designed specifically for a Windows platform or a Macintosh platform.

Many companies realized that what people really wanted was convenience. So they developed easy to use DVD to iPod converters that did their job with just one simple button click

Of course the winners of this battle were the companies savvy enough to focus on designing converters that were both universal and convenient. These companies developed the most innovative, versatile and easy-to-use DVD to iPod converters that are available today. These are the converters that now dominate the market because anyone can use them and they make loading DVD to iPod super easy.

So who really about the fact that loading DVD to iPod is not technically an innovation? It is one of the coolest technological developments to emerge in the last twenty years, and it provides us with an incredible amount of entertainment freedom and convenience. And at the end of the day, isn't that what is really important?
