Myspace Codes & Other Sick Stuff - Make Your Page Sick!

by Karen Bird

It is very important to have a MySpace layout that is unique to your personality, to allow you to express yourself while making new friends. It allows you to connect with other people who have similar interests. When personalizing your MySpace page, there are many different layouts and graphics to choose from: pretty layouts for girls, sports layouts, celebrity layouts, business layouts, religious layouts, polka dot layouts, simple layouts, and more!

Thankfully, there are literally millions of different backgrounds and graphics for you to choose from: checkered layouts, polka dot layouts, celebrity layouts, sports layouts, religious layouts, and of course the always popular glitter graphics! If you can't find one you like then use a layout generator to create your own customized layout (see last paragraph for details) . No matter what personality you have, you will find or create layouts and themes to match your MySpace profile.

When you find a pre-made MySpace layout that you like, you will see the a code underneath it. All you have to do is copy and paste that code into your 'about me' box, click on 'save', and that's it! It is very simple. You can do the same thing with all the pre-made MySpace stuff such as tweaks, contact tables, banners, games and graphics, to name a few. It very common for MySpacers to change their layouts often.

There are a lot of MySpace fads that are gaining popularity. Some MySpace trends include: having music play lists, whore me codes, changing the color of scrollbars, comment boxes, hiding friends lists, buy me codes, and more! The whore me code is fun to use if you want your MySpace profile to become more popular.

The premade comment code will put a comment box on your MySpace page where your friends can leave you random comments anonymously. While it is a fun idea, you are at the mercy of your friends. The 'music play list apps' allows you to have numerous songs play on your site rather then the same one each time.

If you don't want to discriminate amongst your friends and protect their identities, then you can use a 'hide friends list code' that will hide your top 8. It's different then a private profile in that the only thing that is hidden is your friends list. Another alternative is to list your top 12 or 16 friends. There are MySpace codes for that too!

If you ever have trouble getting MySpace tweaks to work, there are sites that offer easy to understand tutorials. If you would like to make your own layout but don't know how to use Photoshop, you can use a MySpace generator. All you have to do is enter the colors you want for your background, contact table, text, font size, etc. and the generator will create a code for you based on your instruction.

Whether you're a beginner or a veteran with MySpace, you will find all the resources you need in creating the perfectly sick (in a good way) MySpace profile!
